The Mainstream Twist

Once again Liberals’ heads are exploding over a factual statement made by President Trump.

At his Lebanon, OH rally, Trump took a moment to praise two American generals that fought in the Civil War. There is no debate that both Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant were both great generals in their own right, both fighting for what they deemed at the time as just causes.

The point Trump was making was lost in the mainstream narrative created by a number of news outlets; that Abraham Lincoln found a worthy hero in a flawed man and was ultimately able to defeat Lee.

The statement made by NBC News might be accurate, but the clipped video and the headline were obviously meant for one purpose; to stir up controversy. This has become a widely used practice by the #MSM.

See the clip not taken out of context for reference.

A now (in)famous post by CNN tried to paint Trump as an impatient, crude koi feeder when meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

The fact is that Abe poured his box in first, and Trump followed suit.

Until mainstream media can begin reporting honestly and factually, the American people will consider them #Fakenews. And rightly so.
