Report Summary – OIG Finds LA VA Not In Compliance

A report released on September 29, 2018, by the OIG has concluded that the VA as not in compliance with the West Los Angeles Leasing Act of 2016 in 11 out of 40 land use agreements. The report also found 14 “non-VA entities” were operating on campus with expired or no document agreement. The VA has come under attack in recent years for poor healthcare practices and long wait times for veterans. Now it seems they’re unable to manage their own property correctly.
